20 minutes to go before the Boys tilt.

Time to take a quick look at this match-up.
The Columbia Eagles, coached by Phillip McCrary entered the state playoffs as the No.2 team in the state, but as a 3 seed after a late loss to Stone mountain in the regional tourney. The Eagles lost last year in the finals to Tucker 56-51, but won the title the year before against Douglas County.  The team is led by senior forward Travis Leslie and senior center Darrius Morrow (headed to South Carolina). Also, not to be overlooked is JerShon Cobb a sophomore guard.

As for Fayette County, Andre Flynn's team is led by junior Noel Johnson, a 6'7 guard and 5'11 senior Brandon Boykin. Boykin is headed to UGA to play football, but he'd love to take a basketball state title with him, I'm sure. Johnson is the leading scorer at 24.2 points per game and he splurged for 30 and 29 in the first two rounds.

Common opponents are Westlake (Columbia 1-0, FCHS 0-3) and Miller Grove (Columbia 2-0, FCHS 1-0)
